ASC excess charges increase in April 2018
From April 2018 changes are coming in from your distributor for Available Supply Capacity (ASC) charges. Anytime you exceed your agreed capacity, your excess will be billed on much higher rates than those you’ve agreed.
Increases to unidentified gas charges
As gas is transported across the UK, an amount is inevitably lost due to issues such as unregistered meters, pipe leaks and theft of gas by some end users. The cost of this gas is proportionately recovered by charging set rates to all users of gas, known as unidentified gas charges.
